Dolomite
This section of rock is crossed by numerous fractures. They vary in thickness, continuity, and orientation, reminding us that even the hardest rock is affected—on a small scale—by the stresses present in the Earth's crust.
Outside of Italy, dolomite deposits can be found in countries such as Brazil, Australia, Mexico, Switzerland, Germany, the United States of America, and Spain.
