A circle that unites my greatest passions: mountains, art, photography, graphic design, running.
I love observing and photographing the details that nature offers us, because nature is the greatest artist. I’m fascinated by understanding the reasons behind things… from geology to the history of the territory.
Running and walking through the mountains, I captured rocks with extraordinarily artistic shapes. Then, on a rainy day in 2023, on the wet rocks of Chilchhorn, the idea of riem°art was born.

I was born in Basel, where I studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule. A graphic designer by profession, after various agency experiences I founded riemidentity sa in 1998.
I was part of the Swiss mountain running national team, and although today I run at a slower pace, I still let myself be guided by the wonder of nature.

They hold infinite forms of beauty: traces, colours, textures, marks left by time. Hidden gems, often invisible to a distracted eye.
Nature is constantly creating. Drawing, sculpting, erasing and beginning again. Time, water, wind and light transform matter, giving shape to unique and unrepeatable forms.
The gesture is simply to gather them.
To capture the moment when a detail reveals itself, preserve it in an image and hold on to its emotion.
riem°art grows from these discoveries, from a deep connection with the mountains and from the meeting of my passions: the mountains, running, art, photography and graphic design. Different worlds that intertwine here, connected by the pleasure of observing and the ability to be surprised.

Traces of me
I was born in Basel, where I studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule. Graphic design became my profession, photography a way of observing, the mountains a passion and a necessity — a place to find silence, freedom and wonder.
After gaining experience in different agencies, I founded riemidentity sa in 1998. Since then, my work has brought together graphic design, photography, art and communication.
